Summa Technologiae / Homo Sapies (for two actors, prepared piano and tape) was composed for a performance at the Baltic Opera in Gdansk to celebrate Stanisław Lem (famous Polish SF writer) centenary. The title refers to his book (published in 1964), one of the first serious essay on future world, according to the author himself the book tried to "examine the thorns of roses that have not flowered yet". Composed and recorded at the De eM Studio in summer / fall 2021, with voices recorded at the rehearsal room of the Baltic Opera. Most sounds used in this composition are processed, transformed and manipulated voice samples, with some synthesized textures. Also phase vocoder algorithms were used to analyze voice and produce spatial pads with additive synthesis.
