“Translations” is a series of phonographic fantasies where our sound environment changes, becoming figure and ground at the same time. This soundscape is an ephemeral heritage, a collective obliviousness; a drowned treasury made of infinite subtleties that scape to our ears every day.
During the time a tramway takes to go from one stop to another our imagination proceeds: hazardous music, thoughts, evocations… everything circulates in our brain making new forms continuously. In this piece the sounds in translation play music and the tramway’s soundscape brings down the walls of its reality.
