In writing this trio, I was constantly aware that every instrumental sound has hybrid character. For example, wind instruments produce inevitably the musical tone and the breath sound at the same time. I was deeply fascinated by the gradation and hybridization of sounds and believe they can be developed into key components for creating unique sound world.
The title Effervescence came from a particular scenario which made me feel deeply calm. When a diver dive into the deep water , we see many bubbles rise to the surface. I incorporate many air sounds to imitate the breathe and also use many fast but quiet passage work to depict the effervescence.
