In sequenza - FLUTE MASTERCLASS FOR COMPOSERS AND PERFORMERS

Masterclass focused on flute in the contemporary repertoire, with the participation of Laura Bersani, flutist and Mauro Montalbetti, composer.
From flute to piccolo, from alto flute to bass flute, contemporary repertoire offers a great opportunity to explore the family of flutes.
The masterclass is aimed at composers who are interested on discover these instruments and their potential and is also open to instrumentalists.

In occasion of the centenary of Luciano Berio’s birth, the works considered during the Masterclass will include:
 Luciano Berio – Sequenza I for flute
 Luciano Berio – Six Encores for piano
 Luca Francesconi – Tracce for flute

Participating composers will be asked to write a piece (solo flute or flute and piano) that will be performed in concert in the 2025-2026 season of AltreVoci Ensemble.
There will therefore be a writing phase during which the participants will be supervised by Laura Bersani and Mauro Montalbetti with a view to performance in concert.
