Natalia Rivera Riffo is a multidisciplinary artist-researcher born in 1982 in Temuco, Chile, whose profound connection to nature has shaped her artistic journey. Based in Paris, she works primarily in sound art, drawing, performance, and video. Her practice interrogates territorial and landscape imaginaries, interweaving geological, climatic, and biological materials to examine the effects of extractivist practices on the environment.

Her work, both poetic and metaphorical, engages deeply with materiality and the paradoxes of form. Adopting a transdisciplinary approach, she combines sound, writing, and performance to address themes of instability, chaos, and the visceral, skillfully balancing intuition with rationality.

Her art has been featured at prestigious events such as Ars Electronica (Linz), Rencontres Internationales Mondes Multiples (Bourges), and the Tsonami Sound Art Festival (Valparaíso). Currently, she is developing Cri Glaciaire, a geo-sensitive project that delves into ecological issues through sound, sculpture, and drawing. Natalia is deeply committed to art’s potential to reshape planetary awareness and foster collective sensitivity to the pressing challenges of our time.
