Nikolas Fotiadis is a Greek pianist and composer. He began playing the piano at the age of ten and, after a few years, started composing his own piano pieces. His classical piano studies commenced at a local conservatory and continued at the Phillipos Nakas Conservatory in Thessaloniki under the guidance of Evangelia Antipa. Another notable influence in his musical education is Christos Ntovas, who joins the distinguished list of his mentors in advanced music theory. Throughout his professional journey, he has had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with several choirs, musicians, and composers. Alongside this, he has nurtured a deep passion for teaching, specifically at the academic and school levels. Being in the presence of Dimitris Toufexis, a renowned Greek pianist, conductor, and teacher, was an absolutely incredible experience. Dimitris Toufexis is widely regarded as one of the finest Greek pianists.
He orchestrates works with strings and piano, producing a sound that ranges from ambient/electronic to atmospheric music. Alongside his musical studies, he is studying at the Economics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and has attended Marketing and Behavior courses at (JLU) University of Giessen and (AMU) University of Poland.
