Till Lingenberg begins his percussion studies at Conservatoire Cantonal de Sion, Switzerland at the age of 5. He has won multiple solo and duo prizes at nationals competitions during his young years. At age of 15, he joins the Haute Ecole de Musique de Geneve in 2012 with teachers Yves Brustaux, Claude Gastaldin, Christophe Delannoy, François Desforges et Philippe Spiesser where he graduated with a soloist master degree in 2018. He has been part of many orchestras in Switzerland and and outer borders such as Verbier Festival Orchestral, Basel Sinfonieorchester or l’Orchestre de la Suisse-Romande. He has a strong interest in chamber music, having played with percussion ensembles Eklekto in Geneva and DeciBells in Basel as well as founding the duo CY:T with Chiao-Yuan Chang since 2015. Till holds the position of solo Timpani/percussion at the Sinfonietta de Lausanne since 2022 In 2017 and 2018, he got awarded the prix d’études du Pour-cent culturel Migros, Switzerland. In November 2019 He receives a 3rd prize at the prestigious Concours de Genève in Geneva, Switzerland. Besides percussion, Till also has a strong interest in live electronic music, jazz Vibraphone and modern/pop music styles as an arranger, producer and sound engineering.
