Drew Flieder (b. 1995)
Drew is a composer and music theorist from Morristown, New Jersey. In 2022 he self-published a monograph titled Tools for Worldmaking: Universal Concepts for Mental Reality. His work is also published in Journal of Mathematics and Music and Perspectives of New Music (forthcoming).
His compositions have been performed in the United States and Europe, and he was the recipient of the 2019 Bernard Rogers Memorial Prize. His composition teachers have included Robert Morris, Matthew Barber, Curtis Roads, and JoAnn Kuchera-Morin.
