Jazz Trumpeter and Flugelhornist, Pierre-Antoine Savoyat is an active musician of the Belgian and European Scene. He get a Master Degree in Jazz at the Flemish Conservatory of Brussels (with Great Distinction) following lessons with important European names like Diederik Wissels, John Ruocco, Stephane Galland, Thomas Mayade or Jean-Paul Estievenart. He studied before at the Regional Conservatory of Chalon sur Saône in different subject: classical and jazz trumpet, orchestral conducting, composition, organ.

Leader of his quartet "Le Monde Merveilleux de Pépito", sideman in various project like "Elsiris" or the new sextet of Stephane Galland "The Rhythm Hunters", Pierre-Antoine is also member in few large ensemble like Q-Some Big Band (co-composer/arranger), Youth French National Jazz Orchestre (2020-2022)... 

He also played with Jessie Van Rüller, John Clayton, Denis Badault, Franck Tortiller, Hugues Mayot (...), and made an apparance on the Aka Moon's album "The Quality of Joy"


Pierre-Antoine has also a strong composer career. He write for different instrumentations and level. In some of his major work and/or commission, we can quote: "Concerto for Tenor Horn and Brass Band" (recorded on Sophie Binet's Budelot CD "Adventure" 2015), "Sinfonietta n°2 - Quatre Impressions" commissioned by Hauts de France Brass Band, or "People Suite" for Jazz Trumpet and Ensemble, which was wrote for his Master's Concert. 

Finalist of the European Composer Slam Competition (organized by Orchester Im Treppenhaus from Hanover), the style of Pierre-Antoine's is very colorful with a lot of influence. He also tend to keep the origins of the different musics which influence him, and try to respect the social context. It's why he selfcalled him as an European Creole Musician.
