Felix Römer is a composer and pianist who mostly works in the fields of film-music, improvised music and sound-art. He studied jazz piano, musicology and classical piano improvisation ("improvisation en clavier") at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP) and the Royal College of Music London. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Composition for Screen at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. Beside his musical activities, he has been working as author and director of experimental musical theatre and radioplays (funded by Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg, Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, i.a.).

His unquenchable interest in interdisciplinary projects and collaborations with the visual arts has found expression in his frequent work commisions by the Institutes of Artistic Research in Berlin in Potsdam.

Felix currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
