Felix Römer is a composer and pianist who mostly works in the fields of film-music, improvised music and sound-art. After studying jazz piano, musicology and classical piano improvisation ("improvisation en clavier") at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP) his Master’s degree in Composition for Screen at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF (exchange term at the Royal College of Music London in 2019). Beside his musical activities, he has been working as author / director of experimental musical theatre and radioplays (programmed by Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg, Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, IRCAM Forum Event, i.a.).

In 2023 and 2024, he was participant of IRCAM's Mani.Feste-ateliers "Mixed Music Interpretation" with Johannes Regnier / Simone Conforti and "Composition for Solo & Amplification" with Francesca Verunelli, respectively.

Felix currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
