Born in Italy (Naples, 1987), he studied piano and composition in the Conservatories of Naples and Salerno with Antonio Traverso and Giancarlo Turaccio. His training continued by studying with Marco Stroppa and Ivan Fedele and Michelangelo Lupone (electronic music) at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
During these years, the meetings with the composers Helmut Lachenmann, Franck Bedrossian, Francesco Filidei, Mark Andre, Stefano Gervasoni, Salvatore Sciarrino, Tristan Murail and Pierluigi Billone were important.
His works have been performed nationally and internationally with collaborations with ensembles and performers such as Divertimento Ensemble, FontanaMix Ensemble, AchRome Ensemble, MotoContrario Ensemble, the G. G. Arrigoni String Orchestra, KLK string orchestra, Kandinsky Ensemble, Quartetto Felix, Maria Grazia Bellocchio, Francesco D’Orazio and Dario Savron.
Several awards in international competitions including the absolute first prize at the IV International Composition Competition “A. Schnittke” of Lvyv (Ukraine) in 2019 with the piece for string orchestra Ere di lontananza (2019), the honorable mention at the II Karol Szymanovski International Composition Competition with the piece for solo violin Attraverso tutte le corde (2022) and the first prize at the KomponisteWerktatt 2023 in Saarbrücken (Germany) with the piece for orchestra Teleri (2022) with a new commission for the Deutsche Radio Philarmonie.
In 2021 he is the recipient of the scholarship awarded by the Ensemble Dissonanzen for his piece for string trio Tra le petraie d’un greto (2021) commissioned for the Bagliori 2021 festival.
Since 2020 his compositions have been published by TEM – Taukay music editions and from 2023 by Edizioni Stradivarius (Milan).
In 2022 with the Aulicus Classics label he released his first monographic album “Solo and Chamber Music” containing works from the solo instrument to the Ensemble written between 2020 and 2021.
He is currently a professor in the Italian Conservatories of Music
