Composer Residency Rodamusic 5th edition

We are very happy to announce the 2025 edition of the call for scores for our Rodamúsic Composers Residency program.

This year the selected composer will get to work with solo violinist Marie Schreer, a renowned international soloist and contemporary music specialist, and member of the Riot Ensemble in London (www.marieschreer.com).

She will be playing a program that will include the following music, plus the piece written by the selected composer from this program:
- Ashkan Behzadi/Taher Adel - Ballads: Oblique
- Marie Schreer - All things must be audible at all times
- Aaron Holloway-Nahum - If I Am From Somewhere I Am From There
- New comission from Rodamúsic Composers Residency Program 2025.

The prize for the commission will be 1000€, and you will get to spend a week in Potries working with Marie, staying at the beautiful La Cambra Casa Rural (https://www.escapadarural.com/casa-rural/valencia/la-cambra-casa-rural).

The applications are now open and the deadline to apply will be the end of March.
