For Spanish speaking composers
With the purpose to promote, develop, expand and disseminate the contemporary music repertoire for guitar trio, Anachrony Productions extend a cordial invitation to spanish-speaking composers of any age or nationality to the workshop in collaboration with Fractal Guitar Trio. The workshops are virtual.
About the Call for Submission:
· The works must be written for guitar trio and could be acoustic or electroacoustic [two channels].
· Duration from 5 to 12 minutes.
· Sketches, works in development, or works that begin their composition for Fractal Guitar Trio before the start of the workshop, with the purpose that they can be completed.
REQUIREMENTS
· Provide the information requested in the registration form.
· Professional level.
About the Workshop:
A. MASTER CONFERENCES + REVIEWS + INTERPRETATION + TOUR
The members of Fractal Guitar Trio (FGT) will play three master conferences about his project and recent production: Neologismo Sonoro, with the purpose of contribute ideas about the different technical possibilities and/or technical resources.
Composite works will be reviewed and interpreted. After its premiere, the scheduled works will be in two FGT extras concert, which will be broadcast through the social networks of the FEC (Contemporary Expressions Festival).
B. AUDIO RECORDING + DISCOGRAPHY PRODUCTION
The works will be recorded in studio by FGT for the production of record material under the FEC record label: Anachrony Records. Once the MASTERS have been obtained, will notify FGT and the participants to send the SPLIT SHEETS.
C. WORLD PREMIERE + AUDIOVISUAL RECORDING
The works will be premiered face-to-face within the framework of the fifth edition of the Contemporary Expressions Festival (FEC) 2023 in the autumn-winter season based in the city of Puebla.
The face-to-face concerts will be recorded audiovisually. After editing, the recordings will be delivered to composers.
