Carmen Kleykens Vidal (Spain, 1998) is a multimedia artist, sound designer, and performer based in Hamburg, Germany. Her work explores XR technology and 3D audio inside the Queer-feminist aesthetics, using voice, body, space, and sound as main sources of virtual action and political messages.

She is studying from Oktober 2023 PHD studies with Prof. Alexander Schubert & Prof. Gordon Kampe in Hfmt, Hamburg, researching about the impact of feminist awerness inside virtual enviroments and the implementation for multimedia artwors.

She is Artist Resident 2023 in GRAME Musiques Exploratoires - Centre national de création musicale and artist resident of l’Incubateur de Royaumont (Foundation Royaumont) with Regrat Duo, formed in 2021 with Carolina Santiago Martinez, a multimedia Duo + piano that explores new technologies and the resignification of the gesture perception. For her performative approach and compositional ideas, she collaborates with, Melanie Mohren und Bernhard Herbordt, (Faust winner 2022 ) with the production Die Versammlung and the production Die Oper, currently inside Theatre Rampe (Stuttgart). She graduated in Composition and Performance of Contemporary Music (COPeCO master) with Michelle Tadinni, Jean Geoffroy, and Greg Beller as main tutors. This master is carried out by Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia, EMTA (Estonia), Kungliga Musikhögskolan i Stockholm, KMH (Sweden), Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon, CNSMDL (France) and Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, HfMT (Germany).
