David Lobera was born in Huesca, Spain, where he started his music training with Paco García and Juan Luis Royo.
He continued his studies his Bachelor's degree with Emili Ferrando and Ona Cardona in Mallorca, receiving the Extraordinary Prize of the End of the Studies in the speciality of clarinet and graduated with honors in Contemporary Chamber Music
In 2008, he won the Ibercaja scholarship “Beca para continuación de estudios para músicos" in Huesca
Afterwards he obtained his Master's degree under the guidance of Eddy Vanoosthuyse, principal clarinetist of the Brussels Philharmonic. In 2016 he received the Pedagogy Master's degree by the Royal Brussels Conservatory,
while he attended to Eurorithmics and Pedagogy classes in the Dalcroze Institute and worked with Remua and Musical Youth
Being part of the contemporary ensemble Drama!, focused on the search of new ways between music, word and
movement, he participated in the contemporary music festival Mixtur in Barcelona in 2014 and the Mostra Sonora of Sueca 2015
He took part in festivals like the Aurora Chamber Music Festival 2014 with Yehuda Gilad, or the Impuls 2015. And has played in Chamber Music Festivals from 2016 till 2019 as Música en el Casino, EnClaves or Foro
Together with the flutists Dulce Hernandez Straffon they created the duo iik Furo in 2015, maintaining an steady concert agenda in Huesca and Brussels
