Winner of the Joseph Haydn Composition Contest (Eisenstadt, 2017) and Formed in the National Orchestra System, under the leadership and guide of the Master Jose Antonio Abreu, this young Composer and Director had graduated in the Latin-American Composition Chair and in the Eisenstadt Konservatorium. He was born in San Carlos city, Cojedes state, Venezuela, on 1984.
He gets into the Latin-American Composition Chair under the tutelage of the Master Blas Atehortua, and then at the Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt where he graduates as a Composer and Music Theory. His works goes from chamberistic genders to symphonies. In 2014 and 2016 he participated in the 46 Internationale Fereinkurse fur Neue Musik in Darmstadt, Germany, attending to several conferences, meetings and classes with great Masters, such as Pascal Gallois, Peter Veale, Thomas Wangersommer, Eva Furrer, Donatienne Michel-Dansac and had been individual student of the Masters Jorge Sanchez-Chiong, German Toro-Pérez, Rebeca Saunders, Georges Arperghis and Claus-Steffen Mahnkopf, focused in work music interdisciplinary techniques, video and contemporary dance.
His pieces had been interpreted by prestigious soloist as Yury Revich (Violin), Patricia Kopatchinskaja (Violin), Uli Fussenneger (Kontrabaß), Greame Jennings (Violin), Jorge Sanchez-Chiong (Turn-Tables), Phillip Gravogel (Oboe), Roland Schueler (Cello) among others. By groups and festivals such as Intercontemporary Paris Ensemble, the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra, Mahler Chamber Orchester Schallfeld Ensemble (Graz) Latin American Music Festival (Caracas, Venezuela), Darmstäter Musik Festival (Germany) in variety of countries: Austria, Argentina, Colombia, USA, Venezuela, Germany, Russia, France, Switzerland, UK, among others, gaining important reviews of national and international Masters.
Among his awards and recognitions, we can find: winner of the mention “Best Free Work” in the second edition of the International Composition Contest Antonin Dvorak (Prague, 2011), semi-finalist “National Composition Contest” (Caracas, 2013) and the “Ciudad de Tinaco Order”, First Class.
