Born in Pereira, Colombia, Angela holds a MA in Music Performance from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest where she studied with Gábor Dienes and Béla Horváth, being awarded a scholarship by the Hungarian government. She recently finished her second MA at the Zürich University of the Arts, in the class of Louise Pellerin. She has received grants from the ZHdK Foundation and the Bruno Schuler Stiftung.

Her professional experience includes the Franz Liszt Chamber orchestra, Savaria Symphony, Budafoki Dohnanyi Orchestra, Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra, Bruno Walter Symphony Orchestra, World Peace Philharmonic, Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra, working with conductors such as Zoltán Kocsis, György Vashegyi, Péter Eötvös, Gábor Horváth, Sergio Cárdenas, Balázs Horváth, Alejandro Posada, Roberto González Monjas, Robert Farkas, Hartmut Keil, Bernard Haitink, Beat  Furrer, among others. She has worked as an oboe teacher at the Network of Music Schools in Medellín and as a music teacher in her hometown.

Particularly interested in contemporary music, she was a member of the Ulysses Ensemble 2018, soloist at Zurich's "Tage für Neue Musik" Festival 2018, and performer at SoniFy 2019 Festival for Artistic Research hosted by the Kunstuniversität Graz. 

She is a member of the Miskolc Symphony Orchestra.
