Anat Nazarathy established herself as an enthusiastic performer of contemporary music. In addition to her passion for contemporary repertoire, she is now pursuing her second masters degree in specialised performance of early music in the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. Anat completed her bachelor's degree in the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in the class of Prof. Yossi Arnheim, and her master's degree in music performance in Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in the Class of Prof. Pirmin Grehl. In both degrees she was awarded the highest grade in her final recital. Anat has performed as soloist and chamber musician in new music festivals and concert series such as Zeiträme Basel (2017), Tirol Festival for New Music (2017), IMPULS Festival in Graz (2017), Nachtstrom in Gare du Nord, Basel (2016), the Israel Festival (2015) CEME - Contemporary Encounters Meitar Ensemble in Tel Aviv (2013) and more. Anat was awarded many prizes and scholarships including the Siday Fellowship for Musical Creativity from the Jerusalem Institute for Contemporary Music, the Swiss Government Excellency Program, The America Israel Cultural Foundation, The Younes and Soraya Nazarian Scholarship Program for Outstanding Musicians in Chamber Music, The Dean's Award for Excellence in the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance and second Prize in the Edwin Fischer Competition for the year 2016 in Lucerne and others.
