Born in Sichuan Guangyuan, Xinyang Wang is currently a Pittsburgh-based composer of classical contemporary music.

Wang's music concerns a broad spectrum of influences worldwide and balances those from either hemisphere with an intricate personal language. He has been working with eminent musicians and performers and is the recipient of important composition awards.
