Course fee 250 € for active and 100 € for passive participants

6.–11.7.2021 Time of Music, Viitasaari, Finland

During the course young students and professionals have a chance to work with violinist Eriikka Maalismaa, cellist Markus Hohti, pianist Emil Holmström and guitarist Petri Kumela on chamber music and solo repertoire composed after the World War II. Registration is possible both as a solo musician and with an established duo or other chamber ensemble. The session ends with a public concert.

Petri Kumela and Piano Trio Tristero (Maalismaa, Hohti, Holmström) are leading musicians of their generation, known from their fertile work with contemporary music. They have cooperated in Finland and internationally with large number of composers of our time, both as solo musicians and with ensembles, giving numerous first performances of new compositions.

• Course languages: English and Finnish

Course Fees

Course fee for active participants is 250 €. The fee includes participation in the course, open lessons and workshops, and free entrance to all of the festival concerts.

We also offer a chance to take part in Rebellion for Sale and Contemporary Chamber Music courses as a passive student. With a fee of 100 €, you can participate to the courses as a listener, excluding private lessons. The passive participant fee does not include free entrance to the festival concerts.
